Prior to 2006 and the founding of Sound Investment Group Hal spent over a decade working as an investment advisor for the major Wall Street wealth management firms Prudential and Wachovia Securities. His experience there helped shape the proprietary client engagement and investment process that is the platform that Sound Investment Group utilizes today.
Hal advises high net worth individuals on their financial planning needs and their income strategies. He focuses on developing solid client relationships while monitoring their customized investment strategies.
Hal obtained the Wharton School of Business advanced Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation which has assisted in providing insight not typically found with others in his field. His strength has been his ability to convey complex estate and investment strategies in simple terms to his clients.
Hal and his wife Marcia are originally from Seattle Washington and have raised their two adult children in the far west suburbs of Chicago since 1994. He enjoys spending time traveling, bicycle riding, casual golfing and many other outdoor activities.
